Modern School, Koradi Road in collaboration with NACRT ( Neeru’s Academy for Counselling, Research and Training) organized ‘EduFest -2019’ from 14th Sept 2019 to 18th Sept 2019 in the school premises. ‘EduFest -2019’ is an initiative undertaken by Mrs. Neeru Kapai , an eminent educator par excellence and the Founder Director of NACRT. The aim of EduFest -2019 was to bring about a transformational shift in the students’ behavior and the misconceptions that they tagged along with them. It also aimed at giving experience, exposure & empowerment to the staff & students regarding the teaching learning process.
Eminent speakers from the field of education who were the experts for the event included Sudha Suresh (Master Trainer, FastracKids India), Priyanka Chatterjee ( Founder Director, Arts4Change Artistic ), Saba Islam (Parwarish-Kolkata Head) , Neeraj Shah, ( Trainer & Motivational Speaker), Dr. Rekha Biwapurkar (Gynaecologist), Dr.Sanjay Deshpande (Sexologist) and Mrs. Neeru Kapai (Director, NACRT) enlightened the gatherings with their thought provoking lectures and activities.
The sessions also dealt with innovative pedagogy that can easily be incorporated in the present education system. Various sessions were conducted for teachers, parents and students on topics of Arts Integration, 21st Century Learning Skills, Behaviour Modifications, Innovative Pedagogy, Experiential Learning and Child Sexual Abuse.
Modern School authorities including Mrs. Neeru Kapai, Director; Mr.Rohan Kapai, School Manager, Mrs. Anuradha Sardeshpande, Principal; Ms. Rupali Dey, Vice-Principal and Ms. Rumilda Solomon, Co-ordinator, Jingle Bells Kindergarten worked to make the event a success. They also appreciated the efforts, zeal and enthusiasm of the students, teachers and parents.
